Predict every match. Outsmart your friends.

Each match is scored on closeness: the exact score earns 3 points, the right goal difference 2, just the right outcome 1, and a miss 0. Nailing an exact score few others dared brings a rarity bonus on top.

At kickoff, per match, enforced by the server - not your clock. Until then you can change your pick as often as you like, from the fixtures page, your picks, or the match view.

Once per round you can mark one match as your joker: it doubles every point you earn on it. You can move it to another match in the same round as long as neither match has kicked off.

Before the first kickoff of the tournament, call the team that lifts the trophy. If you are right, you collect a bonus at the end - and your crowned flag watches over your fixtures all tournament long.

Only after a match kicks off. Your pending predictions are private, so nobody can copy your genius before lock.

Predictions are scored on the final score of play; penalty shootouts decide who advances but never your points. A knockout draw that goes to penalties scores as a draw.

From publicly accessible FIFA and UEFA endpoints: fixtures, live scores (about every two minutes during matches), squads, and stats. The world map is OpenStreetMap.

Completely. The whole project is open source under the WTFPL - you can read every line, run your own instance for your friends, and do what you want with it.

Every prediction is scored on the regulation (90-minute) result. The full formula:

points = (base + rarity) × multiplier

base    = 3  if exact score          (home & away both right)
          2  if right goal difference (and right outcome)
          1  if right outcome only    (win / draw / loss)
          0  otherwise

rarity  = +5  if < 0.5% of players picked that exact score
          +3  if < 5%
          +2  if < 15%
          +1  if < 40%
          +0  otherwise        (only on an exact score; needs ≥ 5 entries)

multiplier = 2  on your round joker, and on every final
             1  otherwise

champion = +10  if your tournament winner pick lifts the trophy

Example: you call Belgium 1-0 and it finishes 1-0 - that is an exact score (3). If only 5.9% of players dared that scoreline, the rarity tier adds +2, for 5 points. On the final, or with your joker, it would double.
